General

The Mouse In A Box website, found under the www.mouse-in-box.co.uk URL, is operated by EF and LF. References to ‘Mouse in a Box’ and ‘we’, ‘us’ and ‘our’ shall be deemed to be references to Mouse in a Box. References to ‘you’, and ‘your’ shall be deemed to be references to person placing an order via the www.mouse-in-a-box.co.uk website.

Orders

When you place and order with Mouse in a Box it will be deemed that you have read, understood and agreed to these Terms & Conditions. If you are unhappy with any part of these terms and conditions, you should contact us before placing an order by emailing hellomouseinabox@gmail.com.

By placing an order through our website you are making an offer to Mouse in a Box to purchase the goods outlined in your order upon the terms described in your order.

When you place an order, we will ask for your name, address, phone number, email address and credit/debit card details. This information is required in order to process your request or inform you of acceptance of our order. A contact phone number is needed so that we can get in touch if there is a problem with your order or to arrange the delivery of your order. Credit card payments are dealt with securely by a third party provider, Shopify.

After placing an order online, we will provide you with confirmation that your order has been received but this is not confirmation that your offer to buy the items has been accepted. Our contract for the sale of our products will only exist once an order has been accepted, processed and despatched to you.

Please note that we will not be able to meet any obligations as a result of the following reasons:

- If the product you ordered is out of stock;

- We are unable to authorise your payment;

- If there is a product description or pricing error;

- If customers do not reach any order criteria outlined in the Terms & Conditions

- If our delivery companies are temporarily unable to deliver due to exceptional conditions that are beyond our control including hazardous weather and accidents.


-In an event of force majeure which is beyond our control and without fault or negligence in which we are unable to prevent.

If
there is an issue with your order, we will contact you either by phone or email. Please ensure that you check all items on receipt, as faulty or damaged items must be reported within seven working days of receiving the parcel. Mouse in a Box reserve the right to reject any offer of purchase by you at any point. Please note that whilst we will make every effort and reasonable care to keep your order details and payment secure, we cannot be responsible for any loss you may suffer if a third party procures unauthorised access to any information that you supply when accessing or ordering from the Mouse in a Box website.




When placing an order, you may automatically be added to our mailing list. However should you wish to not receive mailings, please inform us and we will remove you from our list.

Pre-Orders

Please note, Maileg reserves the right to make any changes to design, where possible we will highlight this on the item prior to delivery.

Product Pricing & Descriptions

Every product bought is sold subject to its product description which outlines any further specific conditions that relate to that product.

We undertake all reasonable care to ensure that all the details, prices and descriptions of website products are accurate at the time when the appropriate information is entered onto our system. Whilst we endeavour to keep the website as up-to-date and accurate as possible, there may be rare occasions when the information on the website (including product descriptions) at a certain time may not reflect the position exactly at the point an order is placed. Please note that we are unable to confirm the price of a product until your order is accepted in line with our order acceptance conditions.

Returns Policy

1. Right to Cancel

You have the right to cancel your order within 14 days of receiving your goods. This is known as your "cooling-off" period.

3. Returning Goods

You must return the goods to us within 14 days of notifying uAs a small business the cost of returns is to be covered by the customer. Returns within the UK are charged at £4.25, this is deducted from the monies owed when the return has been received and authorised.

To arrange a return in the UK please login to your customer account by using your email address. Here you can select your order and choose which items you would like to return. The return notification will then be received by the Mouse in a Box team who will authorise the return and send you the DPD QR code returns label. Once items are received the return will be processed and monies refunded (minus £4.25 returns cost)

For items returned totalling over the value of £80 the cost of return is calculated on an individual case based on courier charges.

Returns outside the UK are to be covered by the customer. We recommend using a tracked and insured delivery service as we cannot be held responsible for goods lost or
damaged in transit.

Please ensure the goods are returned in their original condition, unused, and in their original packaging.

4. Refunds

Standard Orders: We will process your refund within 14 days of
receiving the returned goods.

Maileg Dollhouse Orders: Please note that Maileg dollhouses (such as
the Maileg House of Miniatures, Maileg Mole Hole Farmhouse, and any
associated annexes or bonus rooms) are considered special orders. If you
change your mind about a Maileg dollhouse order within 14 days of receiving
it, we will issue a credit note for the value of the returned item.

5. Exclusions

We cannot accept returns for:

Used items

Items damaged by the customer

Items not returned in their original
condition and packaging

6. Faulty Goods

If you receive a faulty item, please notify us
immediately by emailing us at: hellomouseinabox@gmail.com and including photos of the fault.

We will investigate the fault and offer you a
full refund (including the original cost of the goods and all reasonable
return postage costs) or a replacement item.

If the item was damaged in transit, you must
provide photographic evidence of the damaged packaging.

7. Disclaimer

Please note that some variations may occur in
the appearance of our products due to their handmade nature.

We take great care to ensure all items are
inspected before dispatch.

Promotions

We do offer promotional codes. Please note that only one promotional offer can be used at any one time. Discount codes apply to our non sale items, and exclude bundles, gift wrapping and personalised, cards and prints.

Once your order is placed and payment is made, we cannot retroactively apply discount codes or refund the difference. However, your code will remain active for future purchases.

If you're still in the checkout process, you can easily apply your discount code at the checkout section. If your promo code isn't working, please contact our team with a screenshot of the error. We'll be happy to assist you.

Disclaimer & Limitations of Liability

To the utmost extent allowed by law and save as provided above, Mouse in a Box shall not be liable to you by reason of any representation, or any implied condition, guarantee, or other term, or any duty at common law, or under the express terms of the contract, or in negligence (whether on the part of Mouse in a Box or any of its employees, agents, members or directors or otherwise) for any indirect special or resultant loss or damage (including but not limited to loss of profit or loss of saving), expenses, costs, or other claims for compensation whatsoever which arise out of or in connection with the use of the Mouse in a Box website, the supply of the products or their use or resale by you).

Whilst we try and do everything reasonable to try and keep the information on this website up-to-date and correct, Mouse in a Box does not give any warranty to its completeness or correctness and Mouse in a Box cannot be held responsible for any omissions, errors or for any resulting implications from the use of this information.

Mouse in a Box make all reasonable effort to ensure a reliable and fast service but we do not guarantee that your use of this website will be free from interruption or errors and cannot be held responsible for any disruption, loss of or corruption of any material in transit, or loss of or corruption of material or data when downloaded onto computer systems.

In addition, Mouse in a Box cannot be held responsible or liable for your use of any websites that are accessible from this website as we do not have any control or responsibility for these. Any such links should not be viewed as an endorsement or an affiliation with Mouse in a Box.
